31. Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin
Embed from Getty ImagesAnother huge custody battle played out at the end of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin’s divorce drama that lasted four years. The two met in 1990 on the set of “The Marrying Man” and they married three years later. Their daughter and only child Ireland was born in 1995. Basinger cited Baldwin’s temper as one of the reasons for the split and evidence of it surfaced in 2007 when a voicemail sent from Baldwin to his then 11-year-old daughter, was made public. In the message (via National Post) Baldwin branded Ireland a ‘rude, thoughtless little pig…..I don’t give a damn that you’re 12 years old or 11 years or that that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the a*** who doesn’t care about you as far as I’m concerned……’ Baldwin said. Ireland later stated that Baldwin’s rant wasn’t that big a deal ‘For me it was like, Ok whatever I called him back I was like, Sorry dad I didn’t have my phone.. That was it..’ Baldwin and Basinger have eventually reached an easier understanding with Basinger saying in a 2016 interview with The Edit (via People) that she and Baldwin were in a better place.
