29. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
Tom Cruise and Katie Holme were last photographed together in Iceland on June 16, 2012. On June 29th Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise in New York after five and a half years of marriage. Their only daughter Suri lives with her mother. Holmes began dating Cruise in 2005. Cruise made their relationship public in May 2005 when he famously jumped on Oprah’s couch) claiming he had never felt the way about a woman before as he did for Holmes. Their divorce was finalized in August, 2012. Holmes apparently made it clear that she didn’t want Suri being raised as a Scientologist and reports say this is outlined in their settlement in which Cruise specified that Holmes couldn’t “embarrass” him in any way and she wasn’t allowed to date in public for five years after they split or discuss him or the Church of Scientology in public.
