14. Melissa Mathison and Harrison Ford

After 21 years of marriage Melissa Mathison and Harrison Ford who met on the set of “Apocalypse Now” in 1974 called an end to their union in 2004 with Mathison cited “Irreconcilable differences” The couple had two children together, Malcolm and Georgia. She called in the lawyers saying that she could no longer tolerate her husband’s “bad boy bachelor behavior.’ Friends of Mathison who passed away in said that she would cry herself to sleep after reading about her husband’s many exploits. A friend of Mathison’s did say that ‘He (Harrison) had begged for another chance. He promised to give up his womanizing ways and stay faithful, but of course it never happened… The moment he got the chance he was off chasing anything in a skirt.’ Sadly Mathison, died on November 4, 2015, in Los Angeles, aged 65, from neuroendocrine cancer.
