Amber Heard and Johnny Depp met on the set of the film “The Rum Diary” in 2009. The pair married in Los Angeles in 2015 but the marriage which was filled with drama lasted no longer than 15 months. The issues that plagued the relationship are still playing out in legal courts in England and the United States. Heard has accused Depp among other things of consistent domestic violence during their union which he has vehemently denied. Depp’s recent efforts to sue The Sun newspaper regarding a story on Heard’s allegations was unsuccessful. Even though the two are divorced the drama continues.. Not only is Depp’s reputation in tatters but also his finances with the ongoing expensive attempts to quell Heard’s allegations.
