After being married for six years Demi Moore declared that her marriage to Ashton Kutcher was over. ‘It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six year marriage to Ashton.’ she announced at the time. In her papers, filed in March, 2013, Demi cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and stated the official date of separation as November 17th, 2001 – this was two months after Ashton’s alleged one-night stand with party girl Sara Leal made headlines. Moore and Kutcher who began dating in 2003 and were married in September 2005 despite a 15-year age difference became the celebrated postal couple depicting an older woman with a younger man. Her ex- husband Bruce Willis and their three children attended the wedding in Beverly Hills California, In 2013 Demi revealed in her memoirs and alleges that Ashton was unfaithful to her twice during their marriage. She shares intimate details of her agreeing to a threesome in order to keep him happy. ‘I put him first, so when he expressed his fantasy of bringing a third person into our bed. I didn’t say no. I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be…. They were good people, but it was a mistake. I was strangely flooded with shame. I couldn’t shake the feeling that this whole thing was my fault,’ she wrote. Demi believes that this experience blurred the lines and justified further infidelities. Ashton who is now married to actress Mila Kunis with whom he shares two children has kept a relatively low profile since the release of Demi’s book, he did admit though that he resisted the urge to push the button on a ‘really snarky tweet’ but in consideration of his current family deleted it. It is reported that Kutcher paid Moore a considerable amount and more than he expected but the exact details are not known.
