Britney Spears puts the blame for her Conservatorship on her mother Lynne

Britney Spears is holding her mother Lynne Spears accountable for the conservator that enabled her father to hold legal control over her for 13 years.

Her father, Jamie Spears, requested that the court immediately disband the agreement ahead of a court date.

Britney reacted by posting on Instagram to rejoice the end of the long-serving conservatorship saying that she would “smile knowing I have a new life ahead of me.”

Then she accused her mother Lynne of formulating the idea of a guardianship.

“My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago… but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea!!!” Spears captioned in a since-deleted post that was widely reported.

“I will never get those years back… she secretly ruined my life.”

“You know exactly what you did,” she said, addressing her mother.

“My dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship.”

Jamie Spears was suspended as Britney’s conservator in September after she made allegations of abuse against him.

Britney also told her family in October that she still sought justice, even though the conservatorship was likely to be terminated.
