Former US President Donald Trump opened an official post-presidency office in Palm Beach on Monday.

“The Office of the Former President” will manage Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearance and official activities, according to a press release from the office.

“Today, the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump formerly opened the Office of the Former President,” the statement read.

“The Office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances and official activities to advance the interests of the US and to carry the agenda of the Trump administration.”

“President Trump will always and forever be a champion for the American people.”

Trump has not indicated whether he will re-enter politics after his four year term. He has yet to concede his loss in the election to President Biden.

Before leaving office, Trump reportedly talked with his associates in regards to forming a political party called the “Patriot Party” according to the Wall Street Journal.

“We’ll do something, but not just yet,” is all he has expressed to a Washington Examiner reporter as he exited the White House for the last time and “We’ll be back in some form,” in farewell remarks on his last day as President to supporters.

Trump however has as yet made no public appearances since flying on that last day to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach Florida.
