American screen siren Rachel Welch has died at the age of 82 following a ‘brief illness’.
Her family confirmed her passing to TMZ.
The actress was famous for numerous roles including Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years B.C. released in 1966.
The role spiralled her into the status of an international legendary sex symbol.
In 1995, Welch was nominated as one of the 100 Sexiest stars in Film History in an issue of Empire magazine and also ranked No. 3 in Playboy’s 100 Sexiest Stars of the 20th Century.

Welch also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her 1974 role in the Three Musketeers.
Welch was married four times and had two children Tahnee and Damon Welch.
